So uhm. I just faced an opponent with about 5Q less than my team. He used 4-5-1 normal, and i countered with 4-5-1 V. Morale and form maxed, i got totally owned both on plays and ball possession. Even adding a 6th midfielder for adefender didnt flinch my powsession by one bit. Ended up 3-0. I m really starting to wonder now, what i m doing wrong. Did i miss counter formation?

July lists the counter for 4-5-1 flat as 3-5-2 flat or 3-5-2V. Maybe you can post a few screens from the match and we'll have a look at it.

On phone atm, but basically i went for 3W-1-2N-3W-1 in the second half, which is 3-5-2 with a motivated amc for the second striker. It actually went worse. From equal possession to 57-43, with me shooting about 10 times vs his 15-20. I was set as normal mentality, own half (then full pitch), normal tackling, mixed passing, mixed area of passing, zonal.

ul, the problem is you'll never know. you can't see the opponents arrows or tactics. It could've been a fluke for them or maybe they rely on their tactics more through the seasons because they cant buy tokens for better quality so have good experience with tactics.
