Player not on his registered position?

I have an important match tonight against a stronger opponent (his Q is 31.7 while mine is 29.1) who has 3ST and 1AMC. So I will need 3DC and 1DMC to defend my goal. The problem is I don't have any DMC in my squad and I thought I could place one DC on that position. So, I'm wondering, how will he handle that task? Can he play well or he'll just book 4 or 5 (grade).

There doesn't seem to be any detailed info from nordeus on things like this. I would like to know what your asking and alot of other things but i don't even nordeus knows or has a good enough system for detail.

He will play slightly worse, but one square out of his natural position should be fine. What is his whole formation?

His formation is 4-2-1-3 (2MC-1AMC-3ST)
What do you think? Should I play 5-2-2-1 (2MC-2(AMR/AML)-1ST) or with 3DC and 1DMC?

July's recommendation to counter 4-2-1-3 is 4-5-1 V or 4-3-2-1 (3xMC, AML, AMR), I'm not sure if that's the 4-2-1-3 we're facing now, though.
