well, this sure is a bizarre tactic to play against.

Flank players really have no use against this tactic, however if you they're not used, the formation win be illegal and a penalty will be incurred. You have two options then, play dl and dr, or play with ml/(a)ml and mr/(a)mr.

If it was me, i'd line up a 3w defense and conrol the central midfield with a 3w-2n-3n-1-1 eiffel tower with focused passing through the middle so his dml and dmr are sitting around doing a bunch of nothing.

If you prefer 3n defense, then one of 3n-1-4-1-1/3n-1-2n-3w-1. The ml/(a)ml and mr/(a)mr will have to cope with being double teamed though.
