Strange tactic

In league of my dear friend there is a manager, not stronger than others, unbeaten with this strange formation.



Any suggest to a counter formation? I think he probably plays with defending mentality.

I don't know how is it possible that he has not lost yet.

for not loosing yet by using this formation is because he use defensive mentality with long pass at mixed area counter attack.

you can use 4-5-1 V with defensive, focus your pass on the flank
