I see this as an issue to manipulate draws in association games.
But, are "white" skills considered in game engine's calculations (performance-wise) or players/team overall quality (which is lower)?

just one thing I don't get: how those guys keep Gray skills at 1%
even your Van Basten have skills you did not train
I consider my self a hardcore player (spending some hours every day in the game, in the forum or some fb groups or with TE fb friends, keeping more than 10 teams with daily maintenance, even today which is some kind of a public holiday I 'm here) but those guys are real asso pro.
So, this guy has a team A' at lv 2, takes his 2* player and make him 6* (training only white skills), then sell him through nego to his team B' (3 levels above) as 3* .
Team B' makes him 3* > 6* (only white skills) and sell him again with nego to team C' (3 lvs above) with those skills.
Team C' which is his main team (the other are "factories"), keeps him only for asso games and no training - not to spoil the skills (or doing some training to keep this balance).
right, and keep another full 11 in his team C which play everything else to avoid getting skil through game?
that means all his teams must tank or progress at same pace?
This game has 2 class of players :
Those who know perfectly what they do and how to have best players without violating terms of services and go to succes . They are 0,1% of total amount of players in the world.
And those who see them and try to analyze how they do . Generally those players are always complaining and moaning and hating about the first one . They use words like " cheat " , " unfair " because they are jalous and quite noob even if they think they are good lol .
Ok but why they re doing that ? (I mean only for asso games)

Kaiser, the mutant player Nik showed above actually might be a terms of service violation and nordeus is choosing not to enforce the power-levelling clause in the code of conduct! Even if nordeus intended the power-leveling clause to mean something else, it's vague enough to be a catch-all under which they can punish the upsellers.

in asso game you don't gain any skill. keeps gray down. keeps overall down.
other competitions you use substitutes and reserves. them you train for additional positions and special abilities, so they don't gain stars or % either.
now, since last week, game considers your best 14 players, regardless where they are (even injured). i guess before that it was starting 11. so you'd put your 3* 40% players in, get easier opponents, switch to your real top 11 after that and rule them.
I know that. I said why they are put so much effort just for being at top100.

Epilogue
Part I
I kept Van Baasten for six seasons.
I didn't continue the training for Fitness and Speed but increased some other white skills also.
He finished his career with 357 goals (4th scorer in club history) .

Some seasons later, I got another player and kept him for many seasons - Van Nistelroy
I trained him mostly in white skills and season after season, his greys reduced to 1%.
I also used him for two season in limitless friendlies (for +4% motm reward) so there his white skills increased a lot.
This season I decided to sell him.
Next season he would be -20% in quality and to tell the truth, I don't see any super advantage in his performance.
He had a special talent in free kicks but not when playing vs stronger opponents.

I had an offer from a rival oppo in C.L. but didn't accept before finish our k.o. games.
I sold him after that and before playing my C.L. final today (5 tokens).

LEVEL 2 : league 1 , cup 1 and this season tremble. ;)
Even if I have a lot of greens (some thousands) I don't agree with those tactics.
I 'm trying to play more "normal".
So after 4 seasons, having my two wingers with high white skills, this season I made training with drills that improve grey skills

25 skills in 10 training, not bad for 22 y.o. players with that quality.
The "It just wasn't to be" event is happening to often so it's not worthy to spend so much time and effort.
If with this team and players like those I can't win a team like this, forget about it :p

The skills nowadays don't matter this much... This season I trained 2 players, one from 87% to 127% with 230 rests and one from 63% to 125% with a little over 300 rests.
They are no mutants, and a few months ago I would have trained them in a different way, but the white skills are between 150 and 200 % and the grey around 80-100%, still they performed quite well up to this point.
Overall quality with a little higher white skills for the win. lol
since I am new to the game I have no experience of mutants and I wanted to do an experiment. I bought this player from a friend. in a few days most of the gray skills will be 1%. Mutants are dead.They were undisputed winners but not any more.
Just before gk training is over i made my team of mutants spending around 6k greens.
That was a bad, bad decision.Now in my second team i prefer to invest only on quality.

They second one is performing better? Let's say that they have the same quality but the one is mutant. The no-mutant will perform better right? Then, why all the teams in top100 have mutants for asso games?

In asso games i really dont see any advantage for my mutant team.
As you can see your self the mutants teams have many defeats now.
The game engine does not see them as super teams any more.
Thats a fact.If you spend so much greens on your team you just
wont sell them even if they dont perform as they used to.
yes, I rather agree with the guys.
In TE in generals is very difficult to "prove" things.
I 'm a "science" man so I don't get conclusions without the basis of science.
Make an experiment, observe, repeat, observe , make a conclusion.
I could do that in fast trainers so I made my theory.
But here you cannot play one game again and again, once with "normal" players and one with the same players but with extra white skills.
What I know is that before a long time, mutants (or semi-mutants) were dominate the game with no doubt.
Last months more and more people saying that mutants are not effective anymore.
At least not in all the games.
So my guess is that in some matches the game calculations "read" their general quality only and in some others, their high white skills too.
But I doubt for the second too because the managers who have mutants (or semi-mutants) are not average- mediocre .
They are hard-core players, spending a lot of time in the game, farming, watching other games too, examining their opponents, with good knowledge of formations, tactics and coaching so I really don't know if the performance of their players is because of their high skills or not.
