[Official] Football Associations - New Swapping Mechanic!

Top Eleven Associations are back this season with a new mechanic - Swapping!

Swapping allows you and your Association teammates to strategise and swap opponents for your Home matches ahead of each Association tournament.

Make sure to check and pick your opposing side wisely together with your teammates during the Swapping Phase, as your opponents will do the same for their Home matches.

There's no limit to how many times you can swap opponents, but once the Swapping timer expires the matches will be locked in.

The first swapping phase begins on Season Day 6 at 8pm CEST.

Hello, I would like to share my feedback on the new association swapping mechanics. The mechanics itself is fine but the fact that the time of the first tournament time is not visible until the swapping phase concludes is awful. Last night I had no idea there would be a match at 5am. Therefore, I prepared my team for the first morning match, put weaker players in my squad, train them. And in the morning I found out there was association match at night I had no idea about. Of course I lost because my exhausted squad with lower quality players without morale etc. had no chance to compete.

Please show the tournament time from the very beginning. Otherwise it makes no sense at all.

Or did I miss something?

That's exactly my point as well. The feature itself is great and it brings more strategy to the game, but we need to be able to view the times of the matches earlier. What if swapping starts at 9AM CET, and ends at around 21CET? I think that would be awesome.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback @santa1212, I have forwarded it and I hope it is changed next weekend :)

I agree with this.

I am on EST and it is currently 10:30pm. Right now I have no idea what time the Association matches are. I'm guessing before my league match which is scheduled for 11:52am

I'm going to leave my Association after this weekend as this makes it impossible to plan properly.

Woke up to see we play at 6 AM. All of the opponents were online and prepared, while I was the only one from my association present and the only one that won. We didn't even know the pairs before going to sleep :p
This feature wasn't planned properly at all. It must be changed within the week.

Totally agree with the above - we must now the pairs and the time of the matches in advance. It is not possible to lose matches just because your first game is in 1-2 hours after the draw and you could not visit it because it is night. I'm not going to wake up in the middle of the night twice during my weekend just to check if there are any matches or no

Our opponents did this and I crushed their head of 142% team with an humble 122% team. lmao

The swapping phase for the first match (Saturday semi final) should be pushed up 1 day earlier. So, after swapping finished both teams have enough time to check and manage their fixture schedules.

For the 2nd match (Sunday final), there will be no time room to push up, so just turn off the swapping feature. Sunday match will be the same as before, no swap.

Just my thought.

Easy as give 4 days to play FAs... 2 days for swapping, thursday and saturday, and 2 to play...

apparently no change this week as well. its just sad. we lost our finals last week as some of our members no clue about the time of the first round of the final was and as when the match was played it was way early for them and they couldn't prep for their game.

yes, indeed it is essential and I am totally surprised you are suprised :-)

This is a strategy management game. All we can do and all we need to do is to work with our resources. We need to plan what players to use, how to train them, how to work with their energy and morale. On top of that, we need to plan our tactics for upcomming matches.

If we have no idea neither who we will face nor what time, all this goes to hell. We go sleep on Friday and have no idea at what time there will be our next match, in what weather it will take place and who will be our opponent. Do you see how this is ridiculous? But we know this match can easily take place at 5am. So what tactics do you suggest us to set? What players to use? How much energy they need to retain? How many trainings we should perform? What mentality is the correct one? What tackling? What morale should we set? Is it worthy to buy superb morale for all players? For important association matches I would buy it with blues but I have easy league match in the morning so if I buy it and there is no asso match before this league one, my blues will be completely wasted. Should I do it?

This new feature goes exactly against everything the game is based on.

I have no idea who at Nordeus could have thought this would be welcome.

Glad to ear that, in fact this new sistem is giving people a very hard time and many players are thinking of giving up associations and therefore the game.

Hopping to ear good news from you soon :D

Also the limit time to schedule the games e quite complicated, in Portugal we can play from 4:00 to 18:00, so in the evening where is best to play no games can be done...

Teams that have one or more players, in the skills with 2 or more negative ash, entered the drawings of the support teams......

Players with only 1 negative gray in the skill, entered the "normal" draws and not the support teams... So there was equality in the games/sweepstakes.......
For the teams' strengths to be equalized in the games

After the draws, all auctions closed, so that smart guys don't cheat to increase averages with purchases after the draws ..
About the games times, it's 4:00 in the morning, it's meaningless

Cancel swapping mechanism. That's the solution.

I think swapping feature is the most strategically intelligent feature ever featured in Top 11. The second best is the sadly now dormant loan players feature among association matches, due to abuse of the feature by tankers.

I think swapping feature is not easy to be abused as it affects virtually everyone equally, so it's a great feature. Kudos to the coder or marketing person who thought of it!

I like it as well. It brings strategy to the game which is something missing, unfortunately. However, we need to know when we play the matches the next day before we go to sleep, and also, with who we play.

Love this new mechanic. It reminds me of old Thomas Cup Badminton team world cup format where you can choose whichever single/doubles at certain match unlike now where the 1st-5th match is based on current world ranking.
I purposely put my x2 team against stronger x2 just so we can only loss 6points and let my other teammates that have x3 to face against weaker side so we can get full 9pts & it works wonderfully so far :o.

I'm bringing good news. Today's update makes it possible to know the time of the matches during the swap and pre-swap phases.

The time of the home game can be set.

If two desired times are the same, the match will apparently take place within +/- two hours of this preferred time.

So at least both associations have the possibility to organize their home games as desired.


I usually play challenging matches with 90+
condition and at least second-highest morale.

If there is uncertainty, you just have to take precautions and forgo a few percent recovery plus.


However, I would be very much in favor of halving the matches per day in general,
in other words, to halve the speed of the season.
Even if the swapping window were larger or could be individualized or assigned to a time zone, that would all be great.
