How Do Auto Subs Work?

Hello there, I know to experienced players this question would seem kinda of noobish but I can't seem to figure out how to use the auto sub function, as much as I like playing the game I am out quite a lot and whenever I have tried to figure auto sub out it doesn't seem to work. If anyone could just give me a brief explantion on how to use auto subs that would be most helpful.

Auto subs is use when you was'nt watch the match... and when you had a injured player, the will autosubs it to replace your injured player... and it work only for injured players....

I know what auto subs is I just can't work out how to use it.

Just put your reserves in the box.. place your reserve gk, to gk box.. def res to def box, mid to mid, att to att.. remember put the reserves not the starting 11..
