4 5 1v tips.

Hello guys it's the new season and I wanted to try something new by using 4 5 1v formation. I have been using 442 classic for a while now, but I need tips on how best to make 4 5 1v work. Orders against better teams, lower quality teams and team that are on par with my team. Thanks.

For 4-5-1V you need really good players at AML and AMR, the principle being that they take advantage of the narrow formations that 4-5-1V is the normal counter for, taking the ball wide towards the base line and then crossing for the ST and any other players from midfield that have kept up with them to get the ball into the net.

My 1st team has made a career of using 4-5-1V as their usual formation, I don't use any arrows except reds (forward) on the AML/AMR. Usual orders are Normal/Counter/Flanks/Short/Low, except when playing stronger teams, when Defensive/Longball is the order of the day. If I'm at the match and the opposition is weaker, then I'll go to Attack/No Counter and possibly add High/Offside if the opposition doesn't have long shooting specialists.

You set always your team at defense/counter/flanks
If your playing vs a weaker/same q team, you have a good b.p. (60-40) and you see that you don't create many shots, only then switch to attack.
Pressing style > low (save energy) ***
Tackling > normal ***
Passing style > mix - if oppo doesn't have DM, you can risk with long pass
Marking style > zonal (save energy) ***
Never use "hard" only as emergency buttons if you 're loosing and want to reverse the result.
*** > switch only as emergency buttons (if you're loosing but for more than one goal dif.- don't be in a hurry).

Red Arrows to AML-AMR
red arrows to DMC, MC only as emergency buttons
risk > to your DL & DR only if oppo has MR-ML and they 're not performing good
Blue arrows to one or two DC (if oppo has two good ST).

For perfect rotation :

1AML-AMC-AMR
1ST
1ST/AML or ST/AMR if possible
One of the 3 attackers as F-K specialist
None of them as C-S

4-5-1v... Well I use defensive, down both flanks, mixed, CA on, low press, normal tackle, man marking, OT off. Up arrows on the fullbacks and wingers, and down arrow on the DMC. The DMC is the most important player on the pitch; he has significant contribution to both the defence and midfield. With this formation, your main goalscoring roots are usually the setpieces, especially CKs. The high Q players for this formation are the wing players and the DMC. Unfortunately I have not won a single match this season, but then, I've got some a new set of players, with the old faithful (John, Bircan, Baert... They are not old, just played a lot of games at the club) gone. Keeper has been out of form. I need just one win... One win can bring the team back.

OK, the squad can consist of a full 22-man roster, or these:
1 GK
3 of each DL/DC and DC/DR
1-2 DMC (he can be a DC/DMC too... I suggest multi-position players)
3 MC [or 2 MC and 1 DMC/MC (he's your sub)]
1 of each AML/ML, AMR/MR, AML/AMC/AMR (this is your sub)
1-2 ST
The bottom line — a keeper, 6 defenders, 2 DMCs, 3 MCs, 3 attacking midfielders and 2 ST. 17 players can do the job; you may add another keeper but it's usually not needed.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy,
I just tried the tacitc hahahaha it's a miracle. I used everything what nikolgiorgos said, and first match away: 0-10 win unbelieveble.
GK - DR DC DC(back) DL - DM - MC MC - AMR(up) AML(up) - ST(up). Normal, both flank, mix, Counter on, easy, normal tackle, zonal marking, and no offside.
just have faith I had to wait until 24 min, and then it begans: 24, 31, 40, 41, 62, 63, 71, 77, 83, 84.
and of course let your mc amr/l and st have a flank training and the defence a training how to stop att from flank.
That's it. This will be the tactic this season. And transfer markt would be a nice DM player.

I would need good aml and amr to continue with it.....my current crop of aml /amr are not performing well.
