Best striker is must for 4-5-1v,
Your striker will be in major.
Dmc again is as important as Am's.
My Dmc scores more than striker and Am's during 4-5-1v.

AMR & AML are must for 4-5-1 V.
I won maybe a hundred games (with my 3 teams), with my wingers scoring and my ST just having a rate of 7, no goals and an assist here and there.
About DMC, yes he is a key player and must have above 7 during a game.

Completely agree with Nick. I played 4-5-1 V for the last 6 seasons, won 2 cups, 4 CL, 1 treble and all the leagues but my strikers are just hopeless. They score every 4 or 5 games when my AM are unstoppable. DMC is also very important and if you are lucky enough to get a great MC (which happened to me last season with this 29 years old scout), no one should stop you. 4-5-1 V is basically a defensive formation and I barely concede 10 goals per league.

Why this is 4-5-1v if striker is not major player?.
Striker do one on one soccer+assists.He is main guy of squad.
Well my striker did 20 assist+19 goals last season.If your striker does not scores that means striker useless for defensive counter attacks.This game is random at last.

I have a good striker anyway...had 8goals and 3assists in 7games already...maybe I will deduce the best tactics from this post and try it when I am far ahead in the league....aiming for a 10points gap by beating my rivals. Thanks guys

I am also football expert ,anyways I don't say that.
This game is random and why to waste time on comparing players or position.Its all luck at last.

I am really having trouble when the opponent scores first... If he does the best result I get is a draw if I am lucky. What do I do when I need to attack?

If your opponent scores dont worry as you must wait for your side to score.Sometimes goals are also earned at last moments.Like 90 mins also.

Attacking tips:
Mentality attacking
High pressing
Short passes
Counter attack off
Forward arrow on players
More than 5 players in opponent pitch.

They are some typical attacking tips.But remember defense is best attack.

Need some quick advice... In 2 hours I play for the Ch. League. First match I lost 1-2... He has 3N-1(DMC)-3W(MC-MR-ML)-1-2.
Since I need at least 2 goals to advance should I play with at least normal mentality and counter attacks?
