4-5-1V works better with defense/counter attack.
It also can works playing attack but I switch to that after 35-40' min of game play.

Need some quick advice... In 2 hours I play for the Ch. League. First match I lost 1-2... He has 3N-1(DMC)-3W(MC-MR-ML)-1-2.
Since I need at least 2 goals to advance should I play with at least normal mentality and counter attacks?

I will suggest 4-4-2 classic with attacking counter attacks,down the flank short passs.

Or

3N-2DMC-2mc-2wings-1stiker with defensive counter attacks.mixed focus mentality.

I think playing defensively is much better if you are weak team.If strong then attacking counter attacks.

We must not see that game like it's a real football game.
It's only a pc game.

There is no game play, the players aren't real and the formations have few things common with real football systems.
4-5-1V it's just a tricky formation (if I can call that way), which in a combination with defense/counter, can give many times excellent results (if you have the right players of course).
This is my reverse team, lv3. I play if not all, most of my games with 4-5-1V, defense/counter, even if my oppo is weaker.
If he is weaker as in that game (and most of my opponents are), my players are more effective.
Rarely I switch to attack.
The avg goals are 5 per game.
I don't understand why it's saying I 'm playing hard attack
It's a kind of bug (or reading wrong some statistics).

Lol pc version has got many bugs after update.Now that will soon come to end.

The condition loss is not such a problem as I'm rotating the squad

yea but that means much more condition loss.

Oh you must have been defensive only,but man trust me I have scored 7-0 with hard defending with top goals difference.
Counter attacks and low press is real cause for scoring in these condition.
