weird draws for both my teams as well.
For main: 6* (silver 1), 5* (silver 2) and two 4* (silver 3 and bronze 1).
For alt: two 5* (both silver 1) and two 4* (silver 2 and silver 3).
I'm not complaining either :)
Yes, something odd this weekend. We are silver 1, playing 2x silver 2, and silver 3 group. All much weaker
The same experience. We are 6* association and playing with 3* in semifinal. Not complaining at all:), but it never happened before.
Some of you guys have way to muck time at hand for having mains and alt teams:)) but for sure something is odd this weekend. We are a 6* group and the other 3 groups are 2x5* and 4*

Today was the raffle of the tournament and received groups silver3 and bronze1 are and we all silver 1. This is new or is it a bug?

I worry the same. "Here's how we don't address real issues."
It's just strange, and I doubt it has anything to do with balancing points out making amends.
Maybe:
(Number of tokens exchanged through this exploit) redistributed evenly to players who have been active in any competition against those who did the exploiting...
Or, more simply, ban the f*ers who've done it and let us all move on.
It might have more to do with 4* associations cruising into platinum, world top 100, top 10 (#7 in the world for example) due to playing abandoned teams every weekend. It also might be a bug. It might be something else. I don't know, but am curious. I'm guessing its a bug!!!

I have never complained when we got "easier"* draw just noticed the difference! And for the record when others got REALLY easy draw we had this kind of "here is nothing, hold it tight."* draw... our last 2 asso. battle had 2 lame teams ON LOWER BRACKET :DQuote:

Yes, looks like they fixed it. All Gold 3 associations, all about the same strength.
I don't mind (a little more) random draws as long as they're within the same division. Can't be bothered to play an inactive bronze 1 though.
hmm, maybe it was a cleaning of 4*-5* groups who are moving too fast.
With that way in near future, Golden and Platinum divisions could be full of those groups (as they 're playing with similar q groups and earning points) instead of 6* groups with active good teams.
The same experience. After 2 easy tournaments, we got opponents similar to ourselves, all the same Gold3 division. That makes sense. The easy tournaments are fine, easy promotion and easy packs but are not challenging. If you win 36-0 with the score like 195:4 or something, it does not bring you any emotion. Its easy, its fine, thanks, but now lets get back to tough games.
The truth, on the other hand, is, that this way it will be difficult to stay in Gold3. In the other words, you need to win approx 200 points every season just to stay in Gold3. To win 200+ points, you need to win at least 2 tournaments (or maybe to win 1 and end up 2nd in the other 2 etc.). And statisticaly, everyone from Gold3 can win just 1 tournament in average (average is 1 win, 1 2nd place, 1 third place, 1 fourth place). It means that if the draw will be the current way (only teams from the same division will compete with each other), many of us demote back to Silver1. Statisticaly it has to be that way. And that s not good:) So good luck!
Same here. My main is in a tournament with two 6* associations and two 5* associations.
My alt is in a tournament with four 5* associations,
I would like to say there are a lot of teams in the gold 3 division are 5* teams while a lot are with 6* & the rest are with 4*, why not make a pool among them from the same division? Like the draw from pot 1, 2 & 3 where teams will be in the same pot with same rating....that'd give everyone the reward they deserve.Quote:

after those two last weekends when we 're counting if we 'll make another 36-0 (we did it all the times) , now one group is out from goal difference, my 2nd too and only the third passed to the final (and that not so easy).

Our association played better teams as well. It made winning feel like a lot more of an accomplishment though! :D

All my teams had a tough draw vs good active 6* teams , Gold 3.
It seems to me that as 2 weeks ago it was a "cleaning" of 4*-5* groups, now it's time to cut off the road for Gold 2, to many good FA group who won't manage to gather the points to promote.

The draws aren't equal anymore.
A pattern I can see (from my other groups too), is stronger groups but with less points to promote to Gold 2 vs weaker with more points.
