    Where is this Manly FC based , I know of 2 such places called Manly in Australia and I would guess there are more worldwide. Or is it simply the use of the word Manly and not related to any particular place

    It is both a geographic and metaphorical representation of the team. The founder and captain of the team is based in Australia, and the other managers are very masculine.
