    Lightbulb There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people...

    There was an idea, called the Manly FC Initiative.

    The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to fight the battles we never could.

    Where is this Manly FC based , I know of 2 such places called Manly in Australia and I would guess there are more worldwide. Or is it simply the use of the word Manly and not related to any particular place

    It is both a geographic and metaphorical representation of the team. The founder and captain of the team is based in Australia, and the other managers are very masculine.

    The only thing that you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play. To lay down on the wire and let the other guy crawl over you.
