Well, what did the players do in the last few days?
Do you play them every game? Are you playing two a day?
Lots of training?
What was their condition at game start (over 90?)

also you cannot control: bad turf if you are away, and hard tackling from the other team.


I myself am not shocked when my most aggressive striker (who is my best player) gets taken down by the other team's D. Etc. It is part of the game. The odds seem slim for two in a game, but since you haven't seen it in five season, that bears out long odds.
