Bid Error

Today I started a bid on a player and continued till round 8. In round 8, my competitor entered a bid and I waited till there were 1 second left and placed my bid, then the game kept loading for a while then a message popped out asking for a reload. I did so, then a message popped out saying that the server is under maintenance and asked for trying again later, but I was impatient to wait an reloaded the page and the game opened but I lost the player that I bid on. Is it my fault? Now I've lost 9 tokens without taking the player. So I'm asking for a refund as this was not my fault.
