Autosub not working

I had two matches today i didn't attend. In both, a player of mine was injured. In both, the player was NOT substituted after being injured.
To my knowlage, when not attending a match, the player should be substituted after 5 minutes or so when injured. Is there a bug here?

Are you sure you chose auto-subs for that position? if you didn't then he wouldn't have been substituted.
