a macth during maintenance

I power trained my whole squad a few hours before and I don't have any idea there will be a match during maintenance . I logged in a minute after maintenance and I already lost 2-3 at my 1st leg cup match because all of my player were exhausted with 5% condition , I think I should have won if I knew there will be a match during maintenance by give rests at least to my main squad before . There is no schedule shown before maintenance .
TE devs should not allow any match during maintenance , and they should make a rematch for my 1st leg cup match .

the match wasn't during maintenance, because that is not possible. It probably started just as maintenance ended though, which happened to me. Its really frustrating

I always have my Team rested and ready for Cup, because it's happened to me too.

Honestly though I prefer it since if the match is a lot later (which this season it is) it gives my opponent time to improve their Team.

I also encountered this when I was still newbie in season 1 or 2. The player were over-trained and the game were over before I log on.

Now, when season begins, I will manage my players to be fit at the estimated time of completion of maintenance. Then I will log on assp after the maintenance to make necessary changes according to the new schedule.

It's Day 2 when I writing this. In Day 3, league game schedule will be announced after maintenance. So similar preparations is recommended.
