Incorrect classification on Champions League group stage!

Hello,

There was a mistake on current Champions League I'm playing in (level 4). On group stage two teams have tied the number of points (2nd and 3rd place), but the one with LOWER goal difference was classified.

Here is the screen shot of the final classification table.

Isn't it a (big) mistake?! (or the rules aren't as clear as they should be...)

PS: It seems that the criteria is the direct matches against both tied teams, then the classification makes sense. However, if this is the reason, it is NOT explained on the rules page (at least on the Portuguese version of the online game).

The easiest way to think of it is to think how UEFA does it. It goes to head to head if there are 2 teams tied.

The only mistake on the game about it is that this criteria isn't explained.
