No notifications and no settings for it

Like the topic says I have no notifications anymore. When I read the help it says that the app must be installed on internal memory and not on the sdcard for notifications to work. Well my phone is a Oneplus One and it has no sdcard at all.

Any ideas how to fix this? My phone is rooted and runs android 4.4.4.

The support site does mention that rooted phones may not run the app correctly.

But the notifications not working is a known bug they are working on fixing.
