    This is totally wrong. Android apps don't work that way, if you close the app (pressing the back button) the app stays closed and is not consuming anything, as long as it's not meant to stay open in the background (and Top Eleven is not meant to be).

    The game is not "constantly using anything to stay up-to-date". It only wakes up for a second to send you the notification if you have them activated. This is far away from consuming data or battery.

    Top Eleven 2016 should consume similar data than Top Eleven 2015, if not less. The key moment is when you start the game for the first time, as it has to download some resources, but this is a 1-time deal.

    The rest of the time Top Eleven should consume some MB, but nothing close to hundreds of MB per day, or even GB.

    Please remember that watching videos consume a lot of data, this is not about Top Eleven, it's like watching a 30 seconds Youtube video. If you are worried you're consuming too much data, don't watch videos while you're using mobile data.
