Early Auction Time-Out

I bade for a player in the initial round, and another manager bade in the last few seconds of initial round. I was on the verge of bidding in the first knock-out round, but the auction finished 5 seconds earlier than it should, that is the transition was from 5 seconds to 0 second straight.

So, today I woke up early, bade for a player, stayed in front of the PC for more than 20 minutes to keep an eye on the auction status for that player, but finally lost the player because the auction ended 5 seconds earlier than it should. This is annoying, not fair and not acceptable.

Hey tactican this is common thing.

When jose mou notify you that player is in initial time.So it freezes time for you,actually time is gone.

This happen when you mark fav players and close game then open again at last moments of initial round.
So never keep much players in fav list or get back to auction 1 min before.

This happens to me if my internet connection is slow or the game lags.
This is really annoying and made me lose very good players.
If this problem happens a lot, don't bid in the last few seconds or try to refresh the game before the last minutes so you'll see the real time in the server not a lagged time in your game.

My internet connection is fibre optic 10M, which far enough for playing this game.
While users can lag due to their internet connection (and also due to the 'routing' between them and the server), the server or server connection can also be at fault. Sometimes, the 'jump' is 2 seconds, but 5 seconds is not acceptable. There has been at least one other complaint about this in the past.

I did not mark the player as favorite. I wanted the player and I did not wait for the last minutes to bid in the initial round, unlike the other manager that won that auction. I made an early bid and I waited for the auction to end, where in the meantime I was doing other things but still checked the status of the auction periodically by coming back to the auction page. A user bade in the last minutes, and when I was on the verge to bid in the first knock-out round, there was a 5-second jump in the count-down and the auction was over.

As for the advice from you and Medo, I do refresh the page sometimes. For relatively long time auctions, I do close the page and come back a few minutes before the auction is about to end. But, it is not convenient to keep on refreshing the page each time an auction that you are in is about to end. You might even lose more players this way because it takes some time to reload this game, and also you might get errors while reloading. Nordeus needs to fix the lagging in their connections or the overload on their servers. The servers and internet connections seems to a bit overloaded these days with all the changes and so on. The game itself seems to be overloaded probably due to the recent changes which explains why there is the 'game is low on memory' error.

I stopped bidding at the end of rounds because of this lag.( unless I'm very sure that I see the real time not the lagged one and I will be in a biding war, but this is a risk )
I hope they will fix this problem as soon as possible.

Tactican you try to bid early. KEEP BIDDING TIMING EARLY.

This is the problem when you bid early in the knock-outs rounds; it invites bidding wars. Even if the opponent does not have much tokens, he might still be tempted (or get carried away) to place a bid over yours.

Lag is something different; it does not necessarily mean that if you have a slower download and upload speed, you will lag more. Lag occurs because of the route that the signals have to take between you (the client) and the server and also due to delays at the server or at the client (for example due to a lack of resources or a freeze or something else).
