This suggestion from Nordeus with regards to match day attendance figures after I raised a question with regards to zero turnout for friendlies and Association matches, of which I'm referring to "club supporters" and not other managers watching your games.
In regards of the attendance of your matches, we are not aware of such a bug. In general, if you are experiencing low match attendance, there are several reasons for this to happen:
[I've been getting zero attendance figures for any games, played at my stadium, in both Association and Friendly matches]
1. First of all you need to have enough seats and a corresponding number of park slots that can accommodate the visitors.
[I have a top end stadium - Level 13 to be precise with 157k seats, also the car park is maxed out at the top level - L15!]
2. Keep in mind that in order to get people's interest in a particular match, the match it self has to be an anticipated event - what this means is that different opponents will aggregate a different amount of viewers. The tougher the opposition the greater the interest will be.
[I've been playing teams at all levels - I'm currently at Level 9 and have played matches against opponents up to Level 14 in various matches]
3. Also know that the Utilities have to be well upgraded as well as they provide your viewers with food and beverages as well as restrooms.
[I have ALL facilities maxed out]
4. And finally the ticket cost is a very important factor as well. The more your tickets cost the greater the chance to turn off the viewers will be.
[My ticket price is set between $4-6 for any and all games, of which when playing League, Cup and C/L matches my current gate is around 70k approx]
Please consider this information and get back to us if the attendance of your home matches is still low. I suggest you fix the ticket prices at 1/3 of the maximal price for friendlies. Afterwards you can observe what the attendance level will be and adjust the price if necessary.
