These stats are not ridiculous. Forget about the ratings as they do not mean much IMO. The relevant data is that they got more shots than you and so, the victory is not a robbery. In real football, and I'm sure you know that, you can give away possession and still, get more shots. Remember when Bayern destroyed Barça in 2013. Possession: Barça 63%, shots: Bayern 13-4, score: Bayern 4-0

In anyway, this is not real football so each compare from other side with real football is not applicable.

What we should consider though is that stats is the only means in this game to extract some conclusions.
If they are corrrupted or involve many lucky factors, then they are useless and you play blindfolded as the animations are not reflecting the reality.

So you just play and hope.
