I subbed no 17 AML Kontodimos for no3 Silva a DC and then no 7 Son for no 10 same position, but as you can see the subs have not been made and the name and number of the players are of those supposedly subbed out. I have no idea if this is visual or did I really play with an AML as a CB for 45 minutes. It didn't matter as it was one of those fixed results.
Everytime an association problem is bought up, no response. I get it even you know how bad the situation is. Oh well I won't bother anymore:o
So both players you subbed out were still playing till the end of the match? At least that's how it looked whenever the animation would fire up?
What was the condition of the two players you put in play? Did you check if their condition took a hit after the match?
I'd like to know because, the simulation is happening on the server's side, only after that does the local client get updated with what's going on with the match. If the substitution is registered in the match report this means that the server got the news of the subs taking place and took it into consideration when doing its calculations. This is why I think it's a visual issue with the animation itself.

This has happened to me about a year ago in some matches but it was just the nr of the old player showing with the name of the player who came in.
This bug or whatever it is happened to me in a cup match and i belive it's because i went out and then back to the game before the substitution was made (or 2-3 game minutes after)as it happened before

So I escalated the matter to the guys here - Its a visual issue. It is as I suspected. The subs do indeed happen on the server so that's why everything is in fact written down in the match report but the animation engine bugs out while rendering. :/
So I was told that it's on the task list with the devs.
Oh btw, I do wonder if resetting the game or jumping to the home-screen and back to the match, after the bug occurs, would refresh the animation engine... I haven't experienced this so I've never tested it out. If you guys have this issue again can I ask that you try this out? At least the jump to home and back to the match thing.
I think it's not good suggestion @Jeeves.
If you change some order, you must wait about 5' (game) minutes before leave your match to go to another one.
If you go to support another friend to soon and return to your match, you 'll see previous orders.
If you made a sub , an AMC for a MC for example, you 'll see your AMC playing at MCs position.
