Let me start with a recent post I saw.

It is not a bug if the assists during the live animation isn't always accredited to the player even thou it is a clear pass. This has to do with the fact that the live animation does not indicate 100% what happens on the field.

hmm, yes - that's reminds me another case, assist & goal for the same player together (happening when there is a P-K, F-K)
must find a relative thread.
