I know subs is a very buggy part of the game, always was, but how difficult is it to just force pending subs after goals?

Last match was the drop in the bucket for me, so just have to post to vent... Was losing 0-1 at minute 20, made 1 sub. 0-2, nothing happens. Make 2 more subs. Match ends first half at 2-2 and my subs only happen at minute 82????

Ridiculous.
