My wingers stopped playing on the flanks to go defend midfield

Hello everyone, I've got a pretty weird bug which is making me desperate because it's making the game REALLY hard to play.

At the beginning of the season, I bought an AMR, Miziar, number 10, who I trained up to 6 stars (I'm lvl 3 so it's my best player)

Then, he started destroying any enemies, 3 goals per match, always the best. Then, suddenly (I didn't change anything), he decided he wanted to be MC and now he won't move from the midfield, on any game. He won't ever go to the flanks, instead, my MC Gronbech (number 23) actually goes to flanks sometimes and do horrible crosses. It's insanely frustrating, since I've tried all formations, playing Miziar on AML, AMR or even MC, he's always defending the midfield like he's Xabi Alonso. I've also used all tactics, playing down the flanks, right flank, left flank or the center, it's the same.

Last game, I tried to put him on AML and I used a sub for AMR, and the result was insane. BOTH WENT TO THE MIDFIELD AND MY MCs WENT TO THE FLANKS!

I've played against a weak champions group opponent with Miziar on the flank and it was 7-0, he scored 4 goals. Last game I played against the same opponent and I barely won 2-1

It doesn't end there, in some plays, MIZIAR DISAPPEARS! Suddenly I'm attacking and the number 10 of his shirt isn't there! I find myself attacking as 10 men for no reason at all, lol.

I'll show some screenshots so you can see by yourselves, there you'll see the MC (number 23) much more to the flank than the number 10, and the DR (number 5) attacking and flanking much more than Miziar. I hope you can help me.

This particular trait of wingers came about with the arrival of the 2018 edition and the new, but totally unusable squad screen layout.
Try putting your wingers as far out wide as you can. Imagine they're standing behind the linesmen.
My two wingers are absolute stars, but yes they're often to be found in MC positions or even ambling towards the penalty area waiting for a cross from one of my MCs.

As you can see in the picture, Miziar is totally wide and far attacking, and Abdar is closer to the MCs, yet Abdar (12) is acting as an AML as you can see in the pictures, so I have no clue...

As @Altiplano said, it started with the new horizontal team set up.
The question is that how much this affects the game play or it's just a visual effect.

Try pulling Miziar back so he's level pitch wise with your AML. Also pull your striker back so that the left hand edge of his circle is forming a crescent moon with the D of the penalty box.
That's how I've got my front 3 set up. 56 goals and 25 assists between them in 16 games so far this season. Wingers. Meh, even Messi and Ronaldo have off days.

If you put your second winger above red line, he for sure ends playing in the middle and mc will go to the flanks. That is known bug from the start of this new layout and they still not going to fix it. And I doubt they will not.

Edit: Wingers are fine now, you really should fix this Nordeus. It's an absurd bug, or at least you can include it on the frequent bugs

As you can see, your AMR is on the line of the striker, so he will be playing like an AMC.

according to nordeus guides, the position of a player forth or back in the box, was to replace the arrows (the red and blue).
But this never happened.
Formations are just broken.

i put aml on far left deep position, sometime he just disappear from the pitch.. maybe too far lol ?
