Losing stars when not promoted

Hi There

I have a very strange issue. Yesterday the season has finished and my team were in the 9th place which means it didn't get promoted.

Despite that, when I loaded the game today I noticed the all my players lost a star and instead of a team strength of 101% I'm now on 82%.

Am I the only one with this issue?

You promoted, you are +1 level this season.
Sometimes the game can promote you from whatever position you have finished.

It's ridiculous, I didn't want to be promoted. Clearly this is done on purpose that you will keep spending tokens, which I won't be doing.

Is there any way to ask TopEleven to relegate me to the previous level, or should I just lose all games this season to ensure I'm not promoted again? :)

Next time make sure you finish last in the league. It doesn't guarantee you anything but you will have a very good chance to not get promoted.

Thank you, that's what I'll do.

It's random. I finished 9th and didn't got promoted. Luckily I'd say :D

Yes, but that was done to make up the numbers at level 2.
In no way, shape or form did Nordeus deliberately penalise a permanently tanking team. Lol.

Niko, it seems I had some strange magical powers ( gave money to the refferee ) which helped me, lol :D

Btw, a quick question : Is it illegal if Im supporting my friends with both my accounts ( I never supported myself :D ) ? :)

No it is not,and why don't you support yourself?I see a lot of managers doing that so.....

I'm not doing it, because I love fair play :). No problem for me to lose, but at least - fair, outplayed ;)
The reason I ask is, because I've also seen ppl supporting themselves with their other accounts.

I don't really care if they do that.
Wat i hate (and i think it's illegal) it's when some managers don't play because they want to tank (or other reason) but they go online and set a strong(er) team only against some other teams (maybe to help a friend to be champion),like it happened to me last 2 seasons,this is really not fair-play.
But i've won the 2 last leagues and 1 CL so......:D

I tanked last season, BUT never set my stronger team no matter what. I don't want to beat some1 who is after the trophy, while Im losing on purpose.
