matches not being played - teams has 15 fit and eligible players

This team in my League hasn't played a match all season, despite having 15 fit and eligible players. It appears that the match engine is not putting one of the sub players into the missing MR position on the playing field.

Bearing in mind the number of times the match engine has seen fit to place an inappropriate player in as sub for an injured player when there is a proper replacement on the bench when I haven't been able to attend the match, one would think that it wouldn't be incorrect to put one of the two available MCs in the MR position and get the matches played.
