Preferred Formation and Style

It has been many seasons but I can never change the following two things in my manager tab. I have never started a game with Hard defending or did not use the 442 so much. but I see this not changing although i left the game and came back many many times. Any Indication on why and how these two attributes stay the same. It does not reflect how I play?
