Finished 9th but still promoted

I was on level 99, I finished 9th in my last season, so didn't qualify for Europe or promotion. But somehow I was promoted to level 100, my team lost 20% of there quality yet I was not in Europe and shouldn't have been promoted

Same happened to one of my association teammates. It's so stupid. He's ultimately being punished because Nordeus can't balance their servers
