    Bought, not earned.

A sad day for football in my eyes.

Clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal & Even United are 'real' football clubs.

Well done City in actually winning it, but 'how', well that's debatable.

I find it incredible that in the Premier League, they are even allowed to field a team where in their starting eleven, only their keeper is English. You'd never get the equivalent in La Liga or die Bundesliga!

I agree with you, this is lame and this is why England will never have a strong national team, great youngstars can't even get few minutes in EPL because of big clubs.

Having said that, I don't think Greg Dyke's "B-team League" proposal would work unless it was run as a parallel league system - it would be crazy to have for example the Man. United First team in the Premier League, and their B-team promoted a few times from the B-team League to say League 1.
