to start with, Why play for a draw?

I know i look strange but I'm in the leader of the league, me and my 2 friends teams are much better and the others and I lead by 4 points and I have 2 matches to play against my friends, so if i can play a draw to them i have a good chance to win the league. The have improve their teams so i think i will go for the draw..
