    Please help me to beat 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond?

    Dear all,

    Do you have an experience to beat 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond? please show me the best formation and the order?

    You can't, I've won every game in my league with this formation muahahaha. In all seriousness, I've heard 4-5-1 works very well. And in my experience of fielding a 4-1-2-1-2 WD, I've always struggled more against 4-5-1 teams.

    well... 4-1-2-1-2 is a middle focused attacking formation imho ... so any formation with flanks and a DMC will do the job i guess .. check your players availability and skills and choose the formation that fits best ..

    play with 4-1-2-1-2ND, it works with me in the cup where I made a great comeback in the second leg and won 4-0

    oops .. your opponent is wide diamond .. then a narrow diamond might work like Michael Unonk said . . .

    I had beat this formation using 3-5-2 flat and 3-5-2 V style. One team was in the league and the other one in the cup. I tried 4-5-1 V style, which is my basic formation, but with no results.

    Nice. Same here. Played against teams using Wide Diamond formation by using 4-5-1 V or 3-5-2 V (quality of team plays apart). Both formations won me the game.

    This is my Tip.. Im not guarantee it works on your time efficiantly

    4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond is mainly concentrated in Flank Attacks.

    So 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond will counter this formation with Attacking through the Middle and to Blocks his Flank attacks.

    DC's (blue arrow)
    DMC (blue arrow)
    MC's (red arrow)
    AMC (red arrow)


    U can use the following orders :-
    Team Mentality -Normal
    Focus passing -Through the middle
    Passing type - Mixed
    No counterattack and no offside trap
    Tackling - Normal

    3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly, attack through the flanks, No counter, No offside.

    3n-1-4-2, same orders.
