First Champions League Final against 3N-5-2

It'll be my first champion's league final tomorrow and I am up against my friend playing 3N-5-2 FLAT.

I have a slightly better quality but he had a stronger midfield with 5 near scout level mcs and 2 5 star sts. His flanks are weak with 2 star ml/r and 2 side dc (not dr/l) 3 star. he also have a 4 star dc in the middle. I always lose in our previous encounters.

I have a near scout level mc and another near scout st. my defenders are all q20 but def quality up to 29. i also have some 4 star players, including 2mc , 1 amc/r and 1 aml/c and a dmc. 3 stars include dmc/l and dmr. my other players are injured....

The table of counter-formations says that i should use 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly but considering my team and his attacking mode thru the middle should i use 4-5-1 V-style instead?

(PS i really need to win this cuz im losing in my league becoz of too many injured players. theres a big chance i wont make it to the CLs next season)

"The 3-5-2 flat focuses on the midfield area and trys to dominate the midfield area while giving support to the 2 strikers, to have a good chance of overcoming 3-5-2 you need to use formations that can battle with 3-5-2, The 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly is a formation that can work well vs 3-5-2 as can the 'WM' formation which is 3W-2N-2N-2W-1 which looks like a 'WM'"
    According to JF.
I don't really see you winning with 1 DC against 2 scout level strikers though. Better use 3(N)-1-2-3(W)-1.
Attacking mentality, press whole pitch, mixed passes, down both flanks, no counter. Use of offside trap- recommended. Your goal will be to outscore him. Some time in the game you can also try long passes in an attempt to by-pass his strong midfield and get balls directly to your wingers who are faster than his wing-backs.
I know it's a weird formation and risky too. But it accomodates your strongest players, takes into consideration the fact that he doesn't have a DMC, his use of wing-backs and the fact that aforementioned wing-backs are weaker and slower than your wingers. One of this MC's surely has a red arrow, hence the DMC in your team. And your 3 DC's should be able to take care of his ST's.
Warning- if at least one of hi strikers is a lot quicker than your DC's, DO NOT use the offside trap!

Thanks in advance. However my 19yo amc/r is injured. If you mean I need to use aml amc amr then I will have to use my q18 replacement... or do i have to buy one?

could i use my spare 4 star mc and put a red arrow instead of the amc? His passing and shooting are some 5 points higher. i could also put in a 18yo dmc and try to jam his midfield

    Sorry for the late reply!
Well, in important matches I always try to accomodate my best players into the best possible formation.
You have a CM with great attacking skill- great! Use him as an AMC and not only will he do his best to assist or even score but, he will also provide more stability when defending, compared to your regular AMC. Just as you suggested- put him in his natural position and use a red arrow! Also use your best DMC, because (as I already mentioned) he will surely use a red arrow on at least one of his MC's.
Now another trick you could use- put blue arrows on your wingers so that you don't get overwhelmed during a counter-attack. This way you will have 5 midfielders when you're defending and it gives your formation a lot more balanced look. And your wingers will still do their job while attacking.

Actually my mc is q20 and amc is q18. mc specialises in atk but is lower than amc in def and a bit lower in mental
