Improve my tactics & formations

Hey guys can you give me some tips on creating a better formation, feel free to suggest sales, acquisitions and other ramblings. I'm open to criticism.




This is my second season and I feel I've grasped the basics and I'm ready for hard truths, how would you improve this team?

try this

attacking, own half, short passing, through middle, no counter/offside, zonal marking



But i recommend to change your formation before hard games into one that fits perfect onto his.

for example, if he got a AMC , you use a DMC . And so on.

Thanks for your input. But, what if my opponent has both an AMC and a DMC. Do I just match them by putting in my own AMC and DMC?

For example; my opponent for tonight:

If your opponent got a DMC, you shouldnt use a AMC. Cuz the DMC disables him.

If he got strong MIDDLE (DMC, 2 MC, AMC) i play 4-5-1 v. To disable his AMC and be able to play on the flanks.

Example:

If he plays:

DR---DC---DC---DL
-------DMC--------
-----MC---MC------
--------AMC---------
------ST----ST----

I play:

DR---DC---DC---DL
--------DMC-------
----MC------MC----
AMR------------AML
---------ST---------


U see what i mean?

Always try to **** his attackers, but still be able to attack in his empty spaces. Never try to attack there, where hes the strongest.
And dont give him much free space, always try to disable his attackers.

I understand what you're saying. As far as my match tonight, I've switched out my AMC for a ST.
