I never won against 4-4-2 classic this season, I tried 4-1-3W-2 and 4-1-2-1-2ND and 5-3-2 and lost every time

do you have recent good results against 4-4-2, what was your formation and tactic ?

did you try it this season ? I just changed to the hexagon against 4-4-2 at the 2nd half when the result was 2-1 to him and the hexagon didnt change the result at the 2nd half

4-5-1V and narrow diamond can beat 4-4-2, with the right orders.

so what is the right order for (1) narrow diamond (2) 451V

I start with short passes no counter no trap but I usually change to long ball + counter after scoring one goal...
That worked for me!
