Help!!! How to overcome a 4-0 loss, when playing the counter formation

Hi, just played a team in Champions league, he played 4-3w-1-2. According to counter formation table 4-1-4-1 would work, but it failed miserably. Any advice on how to try and overcome this? Orders and arrows would be appreciated.

i'ts hard to say you have to show your team and if he stronger than you or not ...

My squad average is 41.3, his 40.3. I have been finding that the counter formations don't seem to be working. Will post teams later

No troll, have started messing up my formations as some of the people in my league must use these forums, and always use correct counters

Ok you have to choice .. 4-5-1v or 4-4-2 .. last night i play against same formation and he was little bit better than me .. i beat him 5-2

with 4-5-1V style ..only put blue arrow on DMC to block his AMC and attack both flanks , attacking mentality , normal tackling , own half , no counter attack and offside trap .. and mixed passing .. that should do the work ...
