Had lots of conflicting advice!!!!

I just beat a guy with that formation playing away. Played my usual 413N2 normal counter attack. Won 0-3 away. My two defensive minded MC on his CM and my attack minded MC in the mid. I had my DMC with blue arrow back.

Thing is with one upfront, he doesn't get many chances so counter attack is safer to use.

I guess you can go 41212 instead. I think 4132 is more solid than 41212. Your MC do his bit to win the midfield battle and if he gets the ball would get a free run like if you played 41212. I can never see why to play an AMC is better than a MC mid... well unless you play both.

Thanks for the advice, I usually play 4-1-3N-2 but I've had trouble against formations where they use a lot of attacking players.

Ill probably go with the 4-1-3N-2, with the 2 defensive minded MC's and the one attacking one like you suggested. What arrows do you have on the full backs? Match is tomorrow evening so ill let you know how it goes
