    3W-2N-2N-2W-1 (The WM)

What would the strengths and weaknesses be for this formation? Should the dmc's be neutral, attacking or defensive? Same question applies to the dr/dl players.
If playing down both flanks, are the AMR/aml too far forward? If playing through the middle is the single dc too weak a defense?
    Please advise

You're asking such complex questions. No one knows how far forward players get lol...

The single DC will cope because you have 2 DMCs as cover as well. My only criticism with this formation is that there are a lot of open spaces in midfield, something the 4-4-2 classic could easily tear apart.

Thanks for response, sorry for too many questions.
I think the middle is covered by the two MCs and dmcs but the flanks look weak.

"No one knows how far forward players get lol..."
What I meant was that the distance btwn the dr/dl and the dmr/dml looks too far for a decent link, when playing down the flanks. When playing mixed, then it looks okay.

Not true. 4-5-1v is just like that and playing the flanks works for me.

Could this formation be used against opposition using 3w back, 3 central MC, central AMC, and 3 STK.
He would be playing through the middle and I would be playing the flanks.

    Please advise. Thanks, much appreciated
