Cannot beat weird 4222 defensive hexagon formation. Help!
Hi guys,
I played my biggest rival in the league who has average quality of 19.9* while I have 30.1*. I played a formation of 3412 to counter his strange 4222 formation. Despite dominating in terms of possession, I couldn't score. He easily scored 2. I changed formation to 433 and managed to scrape a goal back, losing at home 2-1. Any suggestions on how to beat him would be appreciated. Thank you. His formation is below:
- - ST ST -
- - - - -
- MC. - MC. -
DML - - - DMR
DL. DC. - DC. DR
GK

Logically play 433 then, as you see improvement after the change.

Hi Alex, with 433, the game was much more open for my liking. He could well have scored 2 more. I may have simply have had a bad game. But he is top of league with no signs of losing, and I keep losing to teams with strange formations (in CL and cup). In the league, i am only a point behind him. So wanted to know what's a good counter formation to stop his seemingly strong formation.
