You opponent is very defensive so I would try an attacking formation.
    What do you think of:
    DR---DC---DL
    -------------
    ---MC-MC---
    AMR-AMC-AML
    ----ST--ST---

Any update for a good formation against 5-1-1-2-1 like this:

    DR-DC-DC-DC-DR
    ----------DMC--------
    -------MC--MC------
    ----------AMC--------
    ---------ST------------

I lost my home match 0:1 against him with the attached formation (yellow points were my players) using: attacking, down both flanks, short passing, counter on. I had 60% ball possesion, 12 shots (he 10) 92% completed passes (he 84%), 1 saves (he 4 saves):

    ----DC-DC-DC------
    ----------DMC--------
    MR----MC--MC------
    --------------------AML
    ---------ST------------

He is 80%, I'm at 88% both level 2 and play cup semi final. I'm playing tomorrow away and need to win with a 2 goal difference to get to the cup final. I guess he will play very defensive again and force counters with long passes. Any recommendations / tips for my possible line up? I will play with my ML as I don't have an AML. The match will be in 18 hours so team will be fully recovered

    Hopefully this reply isn't late.

3w-5-2v/3w-5-2 flat/3w-1-2n-3w-1, something along these lines should work for a formation. Plenty of options.

    Orders = normal/flanks/short/off/low/normal/m2m/on
