I think your best option is to dominate the midfield since he only has 3 players in the middle. 3-5-2 would be a good.

I just won over 3-2-3-2 formations using 4-4-1-1. Since you are weaker, use defensive and counterattack strategy with a mixed passing. Use the red arrow for ML, MR, DR and DL. An AMC is also important to create a chance or even scoring since your opponent doesn't have a DMC to cover this player's area.

Using this very strategy I won 1-13 on an away match. Of course since the opponent is weaker than mine the score can be considered fair. However with this strategy my AMC score 4 goals more than the striker which only score 2 goals. This means this area is the 3-2-3-2 weakness. My theory is the up arrow on the winger help to break their defense since the 3 DC and the 2 wing DM have to cover the wing and left the middle defense open.

Hey guys. Just had some massive experience with this.

I faced a 3-2-3-2 defensive hexagon in my champions league semifinals. I was a few points better than my opponent, but his defenders were all very good. In the first match I played several different kinds of formations as I tried to break him down. I started with 3-5-2 flat, and then 3-5-2 V, then 4-5-1 V, then 4-4-2. No breakthroughs and 0-0 result.

Then in the second leg I go with a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond and I crushed him 6-0, dominating from the start. So go with narrow diamond from now on!
