					4-2-2-2 Hexagon Trouble

A few days ago I played against 11Q lower 4-2-2-2 Hexagon. I have a good quality attacking team (4-5 goals a match). Tried 4-1-3-2, then switched to 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond. Game was in my grounds, I was present in the game and he wasn't (+13% posession), but we had about same amount of chances on goal and (by pure luck?) I won with a single goal.
Tomorrow I am facing that formation again, 6Q lower this time. His team is made up of 3-4 star players with only 5S being his AM and ST on the right. I checked, it seems that he lost only to 3-5-1 V-style, twice. It also seems that this is the generally accepted counter formation for Hexagon anyway. But:
- There's a lot of conversation going around regarding ineffectiveness of this formation.
 - I have no AMR/MR (I can try to get a decent one today if required, as I'm OK on tokens and money).

Your recommendations?
