Is 4-4-2 flat unbeatable ??

I have played againest a weak team with avg. quality 26 and formation 4-4-2 flat
my team is of avg. quality 35 and i lost against him 1-0
the first half i played with formation 4-1-3w-2 and i received a goal
in the second half i changed it to 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond and it remains the same
i played with tacktics attacking - passing through the middle

all my lineup players quality are of 5 and 6 stars while his team are mainly of 3 and 4 stars

also the same team i have played against him before with the same conditions with my formation 3w-5-2
and i lost 3-1

i was superb in conditions and morales
what is the fault???????????

442ND only works If your oponent do not have red arrows and are atacking both flanks.
If you have better Team play also 442 or 3142 and you will not have problems almost every time, we can not forgot the troll Mourinho.

for your info my lineup is about 30% better than him
and i played before against other team with 3-1-4-2 and also lost

What a coincidence, I just beat an opponent with 442 flat formation on an away match that is far better quality than mine. he has 6 of six stars player and even a 7 stars forward.


on first half I use 4-1-4-1 which got me draw 2-2, on the second half I change to 4-1-3W-1-1 and got me two additional goals.

I use defensive mentality, down both flank, long passing, normal tackling and force counter attack.

So to answer your question, No, It's not unbeatable. Good luck man!
