What do the blue and red arrows exactly do ?!

I need some help with these red and blue arrows I have no idea what they do and i've tried using them and i got good results but also bad result i'm guessing its more attacking or more defensive but what happens when you put bnlue on defenders or red on strikers ? Thanks god bless

Like many things in this game nobody knows for sure.
I belive that arrows its the individual mentality of each player, red offensive mentality, blue defensive mentality.
A ST with red arrow probably will not help in the defensive tasks.

but heres the funny part. a CB/SB with a blue arrow will attempt to score. i too am at a loss for words. they dont score goals if i put them in neutral (no arrow) though
its probably better not to play around with arrows

Alright thanks guys i will try use a blue arrow on my CB and see how he goes on a game probably not gonna use them anymore then

mentality, a player with a blue when defense is trying to help at the back, if you put red one, he goes more in attack, of course you can not put both because he is not superman. i personally never use blues, but use in SOME formations reds on DMC or ML/MRs
