Looking for a good tactic Looking for a good tactic

So I've been switching between 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 thru the whole season and even though I'm 3rd right now, both the 2nd and 1st have weaker teams than mine but I just keep blowing up precious points againts weaker teams (even lost a match at home with my team being 88q and the opposing team being 72q)

I was thinking of changing it to go for a tactic where most parts of the pitch are covered

I'm thinking whether to use a 4-2-3-1 like this:

 - ST -
 AML AMC AMR
 - MC - MC -
 DL DC DC DR

 Or something like this:

 ST
 AML - AMR
 - MC - MC -
DML - DMC - DMR (dmc would have a blue arrow)
 - DC DC -

 Or, finally, this:

 ST
 AML - - AMR
 - MC MC -
 DML - DMR
 - DC DC DC -

That's because I've noticed that teams playing with a DMC always have some kind of an edge againts a typical 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 because they have a man between the lines. I'm open to suggestion to find a tactic that doesn't require tweaking every single day.
