Best way to beat 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond (Cup Final)

    Hi Guys,

I am playing a team with a strong 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond formation.

His Team: Best way to beat 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond (Cup Final)-screen-shot-2013-12-10-09.08.41.jpg

We are about the same in team quality. 4-5-1v just doesn't seem to work for me anymore with anyone with a good Narrow diamond. I actually find using the flank in general not as good. How should I tackle this guy and with what orders?

    Thanks,

    Shak

4-5-1 v style def mentality if he is better than u, wide play style, long pass, zonal marking counter attack.

Try 3N-1-4-2. He will attacking thru the middle, so 3 good DC and a DMC to counter his ST and DMC could be enough. Your 4 midfielders should give you ball posession, and 2 ST with no AMC, as he has a DMC. Normal, mixed, blue arrows in DC in front of his ST. Good luck!

3-1-5-1. Defensive with long passes & offside trap. I works. I beat a vry good team playing 4-1-2-1-2 ND using it

See which of the suggested formations fits best with your players. Have a chat with the players during training!

the problem with 4 5 1v is it doesnt seem to be as effect as it used to be. I am thinking more 4 3 1 2, what ya think?
