You could go with 1 striker only and make a 3 man midfield to strengthen the centre of the park. In your situation I'd put blue arrows on all defenders and DM, none on midfielders or attacking players. Play Normal mentality in own half with counter down the wings. I agree with 3N at the back + 1dm as the ND is all through the middle. If you're still worried about th eDM position then you could play defensive and/or put an extra blue arrow on one or two of the mc's but this might restrict your forward play.

I was actually searching to find something else on this forum but your post got my attention and I logged in to reply for you. So yes, straight to the point. I believe you are right about the Narrow Diamond. I'm season 18/level 18 and so far I used the ND formation and won all but two leagues (ended 2 times 2nd). I lost matches, ofcourse, but no dramatically strange scores or things you sit and wonder about, supporting managers have better chances. From my personal experience I believe the ND formation is the strongest on Top Eleven. I also believe there are plenty of you out there who wouldn't agree on this but also, I haven't seen a single team yet with the same percentage of no1 trophies as I have and numbers don't lie.

i also think that ND is one of the strongest and 'winnable" formations in the game,but i can say that some formations vs ND dont work so good in some servers or in some teams..I remember that 4-5-1V worked fine vs ND in my first seasons ,then 3-5-2V ..now both of them dont.

So my opinion is that their no magic formation vs ND and definetaly no magic vs any formation,,it depends on the trollness and randomcy of the game.
