I beg for help to beat superior 4-2-2-2 Hexagon

Look this is make or break. I am 1 point behind to win the Championship and I really need to beat this rich kid.

    His team and formation are

    and my team is

I beg for help to beat superior 4-2-2-2 Hexagon-my-squad.jpg

I have of course done my research and looked at the counter table so I have set my formation like as suggested. I want to know the tactics and orders....

Oh by the way today he played a game against a 4-4-2 classic which is also listed in the counter table and he won 7-0 against the opponent. So it didn't work for him.

We both are Level 4 and I am playing away!

My quality is Q is 37.6 and his Q is 40.1

    Please guide me with

Formation, team mentality, focus passing, pressing style, tackling style, passing style, marking style along with offside trap yes/no, counter attacks yes/no. Also arrows(Red/Blue) if any on what players.

    Thanks in advance

Try 5-3-1-1 with defensive, counter, long pass mixed. Arrow on your AMC and 2 sided MCs.

I've beaten this before but cant recall wht formation I used. I would try any formation using MR/ML. Maybe

4-3W-1-2 would suffice. Counter/Normal depending on your strength, Mixed focus, mixed passing style, normal tackling, whole pitch press

    4-4-1-1 is the best option
I used that formation yesterday and took the perfect result. My Q is 32.5, his Q is 32.1

Thanks but that did not work for me. I tried that formation in a friendly with him and I lost 0-3. I had extra 13% possession and I still lost.
My quality is Q is 37.6 and his Q is 40.1. He has all players as Scouts and few World class.

OK so far I have had the options you have given me are

5-3-1-1 - with defensive, counter, long pass mixed. Arrow on your AMC and 2 sided MCs.
4-1-4-1 - defensive, long balls, counters, mixed focus.
4-1-2-1-2 - blue arrow on both dc and dmc man on man
4-3W-1-2 - Counter/Normal depending on your strength, Mixed focus, mixed passing style, normal tackling, whole pitch press

Any other suggestions from the crowd here? I really need to beat him to win the league

hexagon is weak in the midfield I`d try 4-3N-2W-1 defensive mentality, mix passing, down both flanks, hard tackling, own half ,counter on, red arrows on dl/dr to block his amr/aml.
